The SYF Central Judging for Ngee Ann Concert Band was held on 12th April 2007. 49 Nasians took part in this SYF and did the school proud by clinching the silver award. The Band performed “Sunrise” by Adam Gorb and “Landmark Overture” by Jim Andy Caudill. Our Band members had trained very hard for this SYF, practicing after school and on Saturdays.

We also participated in exchanges with schools such as Anglican High School, St Margaret’s Secondary School and Raffles Institution. These exchanges allowed us to learn from one another and provided us with a platform to showcase our performance. The process of preparing for the SYF was a busy but fulfilling one. Many members improved in skills and musicianship, and the bond between us grew even stronger.
