Yo Band! Just to reiterate what was said today, from now onwards, no one is to use the band room's back door where the percussion stuff are. You're only allowed to use the side door. Also, do NOT touch any percussion things, this includes the marimba in the store room. DON'T put your stuff on top of it! Respect the instruments. This applies to other instruments as well. You're not supposed to take other instruments and play, unless it's your section's. When you're walking, LOOK where you're walking. Don't always kick people's instrument (especially trombones!) and if you do by accident, at least have the responsibility to apologise and put it back PROPERLY! Lastly, don't make things difficult for your student leaders. So much for discipline...
Tomorrow is the last practice before the exam break. Bring back your instruments and files. If instrument is too big, mouthpiece. File, is no problem, all should bring back. Try to memorise your music so you can watch conductor and listen instead of engrossing in your parts. Tomorrow's practice, you decide if you want to be punctual, you decide if you want to come. There's no group discipline, there's only self-discipline. If you're going to do something, why not just put in a little more effort to perfect it? Whether it's perfect or not, you're still going to do it. So why waste your time doing things lousily? A little more effort can result in much better results. You're the one who's going to be happy in the end anyway. So let's see if you're smart or dumb. You're AUTONOMOUS (as Mr Yeo says)! See you at 8 tomorrow :)
